Shanna’s Favorite Places to Eat in Scottsdale

Posted by Shanna Tingom, AAMS® on Dec 17, 2018 1:53:20 PM

As I am exploring the area near the Heritage Financial Strategies Scottsdale office located at 3010 N. 67th Place, 85251, I feel like I am living in a foodie’s dream! From sweet to savory and everything in between, here are my favorite places to eat in Scottsdale.

Echo Coffee may be one of my favorite places in South Scottsdale. Locally owned and operated (so you know I am a HUGE FAN), they call themselves micro coffee roasters. Not only is the coffee fresh, they also have food made with organic products. If you’re looking for a spot to get away from the office, there’s free Wi-Fi and the atmosphere is good for meeting with clients or friends.

The Herb Box - With locations in Old Town Scottsdale and DC Ranch, diners enjoy savory takes on classic favorites like crepes, street tacos, and salads all made using fresh ingredients.

The Henry - Nicknamed The Greatest Neighborhood Restaurant, there’s something for everyone. Whether a business lunch, family dinner, or post-work cocktails, The Henry delivers.

Olive & Ivy - Located near The Henry, this Biltmore corridor favorite was born of inspiration from the French Riviera bringing sophisticated flavors in a relaxing environment.

The Roaring Fork - This classic American favorite has a menu that includes lamb, beef, chicken, pork, and fresh fish, all prepared by wood fire rotisserie, open flame grill, or wood oven roasting. Seating is available outside or inside year round making it a perfect spot for visitors and residents alike.

Original ChopShop is a great spot for a lunch meeting at the Scottsdale location, the Tempe location near ASU campus, or the Chandler location. Protein bowls, sandwiches, soups, fresh juices and more are on the menu. What I like about Original ChopShop, in addition to the amazingly fresh food, is the menu which meets the needs of those with a variety of food sensitivities and preferences.

Terroir Wine Pub is a wine lovers dream. While the menu is limited to cheese and fruit platters, among other small plates, the wine list, service, and year round patio make this a must-visit location. Terroir offers a Wine Club as well as wine storage. If Scottsdale is a bit far for a wine club, visit My Wine Cellar in Ahwatukee and ask about their wine club; they also have a full menu of delicious options.

Postinos is another option for wine lovers. With locations in Scottsdale, Gilbert, Phoenix, and Tempe, Postinos offers food and wine specials daily.

Blanco Tacos and Tequila at the Borgata serves Mexican classics in a fresh way along with a wide range of tequilas. Service is great and there is also a room for larger parties.

One of my all time favorites, Cowboy Ciao, has closed as of October 2018 but their Original Chopped Salad lives on at Citizen Public House in Scottsdale and The Gladly in Phoenix.

Second Story is a fan favorite of mine and I’d be remiss if I didn’t give them a shout out on my list of favorite places to eat in Scottsdale. Located in Old Town, Second Story offers a menu that makes you feel that you’ve traveled around the world of flavors along with classic and creative cocktails. A must-dine when you’re in the area.

Are you drooling yet? I know I am! Whether you’re looking for a convenient location, a place to feed your inner foodie, date night, or a business lunch, I hope I gave your ideas with this list of my favorite places to eat in Scottsdale!

Don’t worry if you’re in Gilbert, we’ve still got our office in the Heritage District of Gilbert! Click Meet with Us to schedule appointments at either location.
