At Heritage Financial Strategies, we know talking about financial planning can be uncomfortable and it is why we’re dedicated to Making Money Fun. At your annual meeting with Gilbert Financial Advisor Shanna Tingom, we promise you won’t be shown charts and graphs with no explanation of what that means in your everyday life. Rather, she will talk to you about your goals, what has changed personally and financially, and figure out a plan for the coming year that meets those goals.

When is your annual meeting with Gilbert Financial Advisor Shanna Tingom?

At the end of last year, we sent existing clients an email, snail mail letter, and phone call regarding the appointment day and time for your annual account review. If you don’t have that information, please contact us at 480-397-1184 and we will confirm the details for you. We’ve automated our scheduling so we make sure that we talk to each of our existing clients while allowing time to meet with new clients.

What do you need to bring to the annual meeting?

We recommend bringing a smile and sense of humor because Shanna is a lot of fun! You will find a welcoming environment where you can talk confidentially about your financial well-being.

Life transitions that include, but aren’t limited to marriage, divorce, job change, change to employer sponsored retirement savings or health plan, death of a loved one, inheritances, purchase or sale of a residential or commercial property, and launch or sale of a business. Each of these (and more) can have tax and financial planning implications so it is important Shanna know what is happening.

Financial statement for accounts outside of Heritage Financial Strategies. This will give Shanna the complete picture of your financial health and will guide how your accounts at Heritage are managed. Employer sponsored retirement plans, Health Spending Accounts (HSA), mortgage statements, financial statement for your business, tax return, and monthly budget. These are especially important when there are significant life changes as outlined above.

We will then review your current plan, making changes as needed.
