At its core, financial planning is a conversation, one where you have all your money questions answered, explore different financial options, and ultimately create a plan that lets you enjoy a more financially secure future.
And just like with any other important conversation, financial planning requires that you and your planner work closely together. It requires honest, open, and realistic input at the beginning and earnest, judgement-free feedback throughout the process as we build your plan and put it to work.
At Heritage Financial Strategies we treat the financial planning process like what it is - a relationship. And we understand that, as with all relationships, building trust takes time.
During your visit we'll answer your questions openly and honestly and ask a few of our own as well, helping you to clearly define your own financial goals and using our expertise to point out potential pitfalls and vulnerabilities to address along the way. Once you have your goals in mind, we can then help you with financial planning tools and projections as you decide between different investment plans built on options like IRA's, 401(k)s, etc.
Financial Planning should complement your other financial services, not conflict with them. If you already have professionals in the areas of budgeting, estate planning, or tax preparation we'll work with them. If not, we'll will happily refer you to the service you need.
